LPG price today 1st December 2025 : New month, new date and new price of gas cylinder – this sequence continues on one date of every month. Today, i.e. the morning of 1 December 2025 has brought a mixed news for the general public and businessmen. This time, petroleum companies have given small but relief to hotel and restaurant owners by reducing the price of blue colored commercial cylinders i.e. 19 kg.

However, the eyes of those managing the kitchen of the house were on the red cylinder (14.2 kg), the price of which has not been changed this time too.

Good news for businessmen in ‘pink’ winter

December 1 has proved to be a good day for those who run small food business, dhaba or restaurant. Commercial cylinders have become cheaper by about Rs 10 in many parts of the country including Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata. Even though this amount may seem small, it will result in good savings in the monthly budget of shops which consume many cylinders daily.

How much will a commercial cylinder cost now in metros?

After the deduction, the new rates have come into effect from today:

• Delhi: Earlier it was Rs 1590.50, now Rs 1580.50 Will get.


• Kolkata: here now the cylinder Rs 1684 Will be available for Rs 1694 (earlier it was Rs 1694).


• Mumbai: Prices reduced in Mayanagari Rs 1531.50 Have become.

Why are rates different in every city?

Often people think that when the company is one, then why is there a difference of Rs 100 in the rates of Delhi and Patna? There is a simple mathematics behind this – transportation cost.
The farther the gas travels from the refinery, the more the cost of transporting it will increase. It is difficult to deliver cylinders in hilly areas (like Kargil, Bageshwar), hence the rates are higher there. Apart from this, each state government also imposes its own local taxes, which leads to differences in prices.

So if you are going to book a cylinder today, then be rest assured, there is no extra burden on the cylinder at home and there is definitely some saving on the cylinder at the shop.
