Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) Chief Ghulam Nabi Azad has commented strongly on the continuous walkouts of the opposition. He said, “Walkout makes the government happy, not democracy!” Azad said that by boycotting the Parliament, the opposition actually benefits the government, because in the absence of the opposition, many bills are easily passed.
