Aloo Cheela Recipe: Potato is a vegetable which can be eaten anytime because it is everyone’s favorite vegetable. We all prepare it in many ways, but many delicious snacks can also be made from it which taste very tasty. Today we will tell you a delicious recipe for making potato cheela for morning breakfast, which is a perfect breakfast. So let us know how to make it.



Material


Raw potatoes (grated) – 3–4 medium sized
Green chillies (finely chopped) – 2–3
Onion-1 small
Green Coriander (chopped) – 2–3 tbsp
Rice flour or wheat flour – 1/2 cup
Turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
Red chilli powder-1/2 tsp
Salt – as per taste
Water as per requirement
Oil or ghee for tadka/frying


Method



  1. First of all, wash the potatoes, peel them and grate them. Slightly squeeze out the excess water from the grated potatoes (not completely) so that the batter becomes smooth.

  2. Now put grated potatoes in a big vessel and then add green chilli, onion, coriander, turmeric, red chilli and salt.
    Add rice flour/wheat flour and mix well.

  3. If the batter seems too thick then add a little water. The batter should neither be too thin nor too thick – it should be like dosa batter.

  4. Heat a tawa/non-stick pan and apply a little oil. Pour one ladle of batter on the pan and spread it into a small circle (thin like a pancake).

  5. Add some oil on the edges. Cook the cheela on medium flame until it becomes golden and crisp on both sides. Serve hot with curd, green chutney, tomato sauce or chilli chutney.
