IPL 2026 Auction: Preparations for the mega auction of Indian Premier League 2026 have intensified. This time the number of registrations has broken all previous records. A total of 1,355 players have registered their names for the auction. Out of these, 45 players have given their no on the base price of Rs 2 crore.

This list includes a large number of domestic and international level Indian players along with many foreign players. Australia’s legendary all-rounder Glenn Maxwell has surprisingly withdrawn his name.

Maxwell’s shocking decision

The biggest and shocking news of the auction is that ‘Big Show’ Glenn Maxwell has not registered in this year’s mini auction. According to reports, Maxwell has decided to withdraw his name at the last moment due to some personal and international reasons. In his statement he also mentioned his poor performance last year. Maxwell’s performance in IPL 2025 was not as per his name.
