New Delhi: Rising Indian cricket star Vaibhav Suryavanshi has registered his name in history. At the age of 14, he became the youngest batsman to score a century in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.


Vaibhav Suryavanshi, representing Bihar, scored an unbeaten century against Maharashtra at Eden Gardens. This right-handed batsman had scored unbeaten 108 runs by hitting seven fours and seven sixes in just 61 balls. Based on Vaibhav’s innings, Bihar scored 176/3 runs in 20 overs.


Vaibhav Suryavanshi completed his century by hitting a choggo on the first ball of the 20th over bowled by Arshin Kulkarni. He completed his century in 58 balls. An amazing mix of patience and aggression was seen in Vaibhav’s innings.


The century of Vaibhav Suryavanshi came at a very important time. He was out after scoring 14, 13 and 5 runs in the last three matches. In the match, Vaibhav made a 70-run partnership with Akash Raj (26) for the third wicket and then made an unbeaten 75-run partnership with Ayush Loharuka (25*).
