Village development officers are protesting at the block headquarters by wearing black bands to protest against registering their presence online. They have sent a 10-point demand letter to higher officials. Officials of Panchayati Officers Association and Village Development Officers Association, Saurabh Prakash Singh, Mohit Mishra, Dheeraj Rana, Rahul Raj, Roli Shukla, Mahima Gupta, Saurabh Chaudhary and all the Rural Development Officers have jointly sent a demand letter to the Chief Secretary Panchayati Raj, Principal Secretary Rural Development, Commissioner Rural Development and Director Panchayati Raj.

In which he is demanding to end the process of registering online attendance with immediate effect due to excess of work due to system management in the work assigned by Shaan, being employed in various tasks like catching stray animals and being given the charge of many Gram Sabhas. Due to sitting and protesting at the protest site, all the development works are being blocked due to which people are very upset.
