A growing number of users are reporting that Grok isn’t working, raising concerns about a possible outage. Throughout the morning, people attempting to use the chatbot have been greeted with repeated failures, unexpected crashes, or messages stating that the service can’t load properly.


One of the most common screens circulating online shows a simple black interface with a warning icon and the message: “An error occurred. Error. Please retry.” A retry button appears below it, but for most users, tapping it doesn’t fix anything. The same error returns, leaving them stuck without access to the chatbot.



The issue seems to be affecting both web and mobile users, which suggests the problem is likely coming from Grok’s servers rather than individual devices. Several people mentioned that the service suddenly stopped responding during conversations, while others said they couldn’t get the app to open at all.


Outages of this kind usually happen because of backend maintenance, unexpected traffic spikes, or temporary technical faults. But so far, there hasn’t been any official statement from the platform explaining the cause.
