Let us know in details.

Mustard greens-corn bread and desi ghee

Siddharth Singh says that many times people think that I cannot eat mustard greens, corn roti and desi ghee on it because I am a fitness freak, but this is wrong. My father also used to eat it, my mother, grandfather and I also eat it. Maize roti is a good source of carbohydrates and dietary fiber is found in mustard greens, while desi ghee is a healthy fat. Although you will not get protein from this, there are two ways.

Two ways to add protein to the diet

Siddharth says that when it comes to adding protein to this meal, you can either add protein rich foods to the previous meal or you can eat yogurt with mustard greens and corn roti, or you can take cheese so that it will be completely balanced. This does not mean that I will stop eating my authentic Punjabi food, because these are our roots.

Corn Nutrients

According to the US Department of Agriculture, maize contains protein, different types of carbohydrates, dietary fiber, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, vitamin C, B complex, carotene beta, vitamin A, and fatty acids.

Note: Corn bread contains a limited amount of corn flour, so it cannot supply protein. At the same time, some nutrients are reduced during flour grinding.

Nutrients of Mustard Greens

According to Health Line, many minerals including protein, fiber, vitamin A, vitamin C, E, A, K, copper are also found in mustard greens. The nature of both these things is warming, hence this is an excellent meal for winters. Desi ghee is also a source of Vitamin A and D.
