A passenger here was traveling from Kanpur to Pune to attend a wedding with his mother. They had given their luggage at check-in. Now, there is no telling when they will receive their belongings. 827 crore was returned

4500 bags of air passengers have been returned. 827 crore of this was returned. The civil aviation ministry said 134 of the canceled flights were in Delhi. Out of 9000 bags, 4500 bags have been returned to the passengers by the airline. Between November 21 and December 7, 955,591 tickets were cancelled. 827 crores were refunded to passengers.

Important steps to reduce passenger inconvenience

Airlines have taken several important steps to reduce inconvenience to passengers. Passengers affected by flight cancellations will not be charged any additional charges if they reschedule their flights. Special help centers have also been set up to promptly resolve any issues to refunds and bookings.
