New Delhi: IndiGo, one of the country’s largest airlines, is going through a difficult time these days. The number of flight cancellations seems to be increasing day by day. Since last week, a large number of flights have been canceled daily, causing inconvenience to passengers.
IndiGo had a tough seventh consecutive day. From Monday morning to late at night, it had to cancel 562 flights. The onset of winter has left people shivering in many parts of the country, with temperatures in Kedarnath reaching minus 13 degrees.

Taking a firm stance after IndiGo, Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu held a meeting with senior officials and issued guidelines. He said that ministry officials will visit airports across the country and monitor flight operations.
Aviation Minister Takes Strict Action
Thousands of passengers are facing hardship due to the IndiGo airline crisis. Meanwhile, the government has also taken a firm stance against the company. Flight cancellations continued throughout Monday. The primary reason is said to be a shortage of pilots and crew members.

IndiGo canceled 562 flights. Civil Aviation Minister K. Rammohan Naidu stated in the Rajya Sabha that safety would not be compromised. Action would be taken in this case that would set an example for other operators.
