Dangerous Social Media Trend: Every day some dangerous trend happens on social media, due to which innocent children fall prey to it. 13 year old Tiegan Jarman also became a part of this. While completing the 'Chroming Challenge' he lost his life and a happy family was ruined. Let us first tell the story of Tegan Jarman and then know about the 'Chroming Challenge'.
Teagan Jarman, who lives in Thurmaston, Leicestershire, England, was found unconscious in her room on March 6. He was taken to the hospital, but even after long efforts he could not be saved. Family said Teigen's death was caused by an online trend called 'chroming'. In this, temporary intoxication is obtained by inhaling the dangerous fumes of things found in the house. The broken family now wants to spread awareness about dangerous social media trends.
"We don't know if she's done it before or not, there's no way to know," Teigen's stepfather Rob Hopkin said. Teigen used at least one can of deodorant on the day the incident occurred. His death has turned our lives upside down. She was a very courageous child. It was full of life and a little awkward. Miss him a lot.
The family now wants to spread awareness about the dangers of social media. Rob said it's hard to be angry because it's not any one person's fault. Social media companies should take more strict action to stop such dangerous trends. Just as they control adult movies, murderous trends should also be stopped.
Chroming challenge is running on many social media platforms including TikTok. In this, hair spray, gasoline, nail paint thinner, spray paint and other dangerous chemicals are inhaled. These substances were used for anesthesia. That is, it is done for slight unconsciousness.
