Satya Nadella Meets PM Modi: Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella met Prime Minister Narendra Modi today, Tuesday (9 December 2025). During this, Microsoft promised to invest more than Rs 1.5 lakh crore in India, its largest ever in Asia. Announcing this, the company’s CEO Satya Nadella said that he is going to invest 17.5 billion US dollars to build the infrastructure and skills required for the development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in India, which is his company’s largest investment in Asia so far. He said that this will help in India’s AI first.


After this meeting, PM Modi said that when it comes to AI, the world is optimistic about India. Had a very useful discussion with Satya Nadella. It is heartening to see that India is becoming the place where Microsoft will make its largest investment ever in Asia. The youth of India will take advantage of this opportunity to innovate and harness the power of AI for a better world.
