Domestic dispute took a horrifying form in Banda district of Uttar Pradesh. In a dispute over asking for food, the wife slit her husband's throat with a knife, due to which he got seriously injured.

Meanwhile, people from the in-laws' side, who arrived after receiving the information, also beat up and injured the parents of the injured. After the incident, the accused wife ran away to her maternal home with cash and mobile.

According to the information, 28 year old Balram, living in Ghuri village of Bisanda police station area, works as a laborer. After returning from work on Saturday evening, he asked for food from his wife Gudiya. It is alleged that Gudiya refused to serve the food and asked her to pour it herself and eat it. A dispute started between the two on this matter, which soon turned into a fight.

In-laws beat husband's parents

It is alleged that Gudiya pushed Balram on the ground and slit his throat with a knife. Hearing the noise, neighbors reached the spot and took him in a blood-soaked condition to PHC Bisanda, from where he was later referred to the district hospital. On the other hand, Gudiya called her mother Rekha and brothers Ramakant and Dhanraj. All three reached the spot, beat up injured Balram's father and mother Maya Devi badly and injured them.

Case registered against wife and her family

Balram alleges that wife Gudiya took ten thousand rupees kept in the house and his mobile and went to her parents' house after locking the house. The victim has lodged a complaint at Bisanda police station. Police station incharge Rammohan Rai said that a report has been registered against the accused wife Gudiya, her mother Rekha and two brothers Ramakant and Dhanraj.
