Manchester United are preparing to give jungle champion Angry Ginge a hero's welcome at Old Trafford following his triumph on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! The Red Devils are reportedly 'ready to roll out the red carpet' for the reality TV victor by hosting him at the Theatre of Dreams for an upcoming fixture. The social media sensation and content creator built his reputation partly through his passionate backing of United, coining his signature cry of 'Yanited!' as his following expanded.

The Salford-born jungle champion, whose real name is Morgan Burtwistle, emerged victorious against EastEnders star Shona McGarty and presenter Tom Read Wilson in the I'm A Celeb finale. According to Mail Sport, United are eager to collaborate with Ginge, who returned to Manchester on Monday, by extending an invitation to a forthcoming home encounter.

The club want to provide him with an opportunity to be honoured for his reality television victory at Old Trafford. The 24-year-old admitted he hadn't anticipated lasting so long in the Australian wilderness and nearly walked away shortly after his arrival.

He revealed: "I was debating on the very first day, and I'd only been in there for a couple of hours. It was late when I'd got in, and I was expecting a steak but it was one steak between four of us, and that was a shock.

"That was the eye opener. I think, forget the snakes around the head. And then it was just getting later and later, and our other camp mates hadn't joined us yet, and I was just sat there thinking, 'this is going to be tough. It's going to be really tough."

United have faced a backlash after Angry Ginge's friend Luke Littler, the darts world No.1, was spotted in the away end at Wolves on Monday night. The decision for Littler to receive free tickets has sparked outrage at a time when the club is tightening restrictions on season-ticket holders sharing their allocations with others.

According to the Mail, demand for tickets frequently exceeds availability by a ratio of four to one. United fans must also hold season tickets for a minimum of four years before becoming eligible to apply for away fixtures. Littler fails to satisfy these requirements.

Kit sponsors Adidas are understood to have provided complimentary tickets for Littler and his pals. The 18-year-old world darts champion had taken to Instagram requesting 'three tickets' fewer than 24 hours prior to kick-off. "Happy to pay over face value," he added.

He wrote after the match: "Quality night seeing the boys win away. Big win. Thanks to @addias for the tickets."
