The Devil Box Office Collection Day 1: The Devil, an action-packed Kannada film starring Darshan Thoogudeepa, opened in theaters on Thursday, December 11. The film, which was directed by Prakash Veer, appeals to a broad audience by combining action and emotional themes with several levels of narrative. Darshan plays two parts in the Kannada movie; although his performance was well welcomed, the film’s reception was not entirely positive. Early estimates from Sacnilk indicate that the Darshan-starring film had one of the best debuts for a Kannada movie this year, earning a healthy Rs 10 crore on its first day in India. Theater occupancy for the Devil’s morning performances was 60.44%, afternoon shows were 51.74%, evening shows were 63.47%, and night shows were 79.34%.

The cast and crew of The Devil

Mahesh Manjrekar portrays the primary adversary in The Devil, while Darshan plays a high-stakes dual role with Rachana Rai. The supporting cast also consists of Vinay Gowda, Chandu Gowda, Achyuth Kumar, and Sharmiela Mandre. After their 2017 film Tarak, this is Darshan and director Prakash’s second collaboration. In this much awaited movie, Gilli Nata, a competitor on Bigg Boss Kannada Season 12, makes his big-screen debut. Despite still being in the BBK12 house, he was shown in a strong role.

Krishna, a business owner who aspires to be a movie star, is the main character of The Devil. But when he encounters political activists, his fantasy drastically changes. The film is chock-full of dramatic scenes, action, and poignant moments. Ajaneesh Loknath, of Kantara renown, wrote the musical score.
