According to the notification of the General Administration Department (GAD), there will be a total of 24 public holidays next year in all government offices, undertakings, municipal corporations, councils and local bodies. Apart from public holidays, separate holidays have been announced for banks. Only banks will remain closed on April 1, 2026 (Wednesday), this is for annual account closing and audit.
