Gold Silver Rate Today : Once again a strong rise was seen in the prices of precious metal gold and expensive white metal silver on Monday, 15 December. On Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the February future of gold rose by 0.72% to Rs 1,34,580 per 10 grams. At the same time, the March future of silver was trading at Rs 1,95,466 per kg with a strong gain of 1.36%.

Gold made record high on Friday
Earlier, on Friday, December 12, gold touched a record high on MCX. Gold had taken a huge jump of about Rs 2,800 i.e. 2.11% and reached a high of Rs 1,35,263 per 10 grams. However, this momentum did not last long. Investors started booking profits and it closed at Rs 1,33,551 per 10 grams.

At the same time, silver also jumped by Rs 2,700 i.e. 1.3% in the last session and reached a record high of Rs 2,01,615 per kg. But here too there was heavy profit booking and it closed at Rs 1,92,318 per kg with a huge fall of 3.33%.
