There has already been plenty of drama at the World Darts Championship, with the Alexandra Palace crowd being treated to some huge shocks and memorable moments. Cameron Menzies was among the big names to fall on Monday, with the Scotsman losing at the hands of youngster Charlie Manby. He was so frustrated with himself that he angrily punched his table three times, leaving himself bloodied.

The bizarre incident came just moments after Menzies appeared to try and burn his own hand on pyrotechnics at the side of the stage. As he walked off the stage, he realised the severity of his punches with his right hand covered in blood. Afterwards, he issued an apology and explained that a recent family bereavement had taken its toll on him.
