A critically acclaimed crime drama, hailed as an 'absolute masterpiece' and boasting a 98% online rating, is now available to stream for free.

The first series of the much-lauded High Potential has just been added to the ITVX library, and even better, it's accessible at no additional cost to users.

Previously, this title was exclusively available to Disney Plus subscribers.

However, thanks to a recent agreement between the broadcaster and the streaming service, it's now also on offer via ITV's platform. The duration of its availability remains unknown.

This move should enable a broader audience to discover what some have dubbed the 'best new show' of last year.

With the second series only recently starting to drop weekly episodes on Disney Plus earlier this year, there's no better time to get up to speed with the show, reports the Mirror.

Currently, the show is on a winter break, with episodes set to resume in the new year. This means that new viewers aren't far behind and have ample time to catch up.

The series centres around Morgan, a single mother of three who works as a cleaner, portrayed by It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia star Kaitlin Olson. She possesses an extraordinary mind and assists in solving an unsolvable crime when she reorganises some evidence during her shift at the police station.

Upon discovering her knack for organising due to her high intellectual prowess, she is recruited as a consultant to work alongside a seasoned detective who strictly adheres to the rulebook. Together, they form an unconventional yet formidable team, cracking some of the most challenging cases.

High Potential has garnered an impressive 98% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, with critics and viewers alike lauding the lead performances and the inventive crime-of-the-week style cases. It was swiftly hailed as one of the standout shows of the year upon its debut in 2024 and has since cemented its status as a fan favourite.
