'Dhurandhar' posts biggest Week-2 haul ever; breaks 'Dangal's 6-year record

The film Dhurandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar and starring Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, and Sanjay Dutt among others, has broken the record for the highest second-week collection in Hindi cinema.


It crossed ₹400cr on Day 12 of its release (Tuesday) and is still going strong at the box office (currently, its total collection stands at ₹411.25cr).


With this feat, it has surpassed Aamir Khan's Dangal in domestic net earnings.




'Dhurandhar' sets new records in its 2nd week
Record-breaking performance




Dhurandhar has already raked in a net total of ₹204cr before the end of its second week. This makes it the only Hindi film to cross the ₹200cr mark in its Week 2.


The film's impressive performance is expected to continue as it may end its second week with even higher numbers than its first week, which had earned ₹207.25cr.




'Dhurandhar' surpasses 'Dangal's lifetime collection
Box office dominance




With its phenomenal run, Dhurandhar has surpassed Dangal's lifetime collection of ₹387cr on Tuesday, taking the title of the Hindi film with the highest domestic earnings.


The film has also surpassed Prabhas's Salaar (₹406cr) and Rajinikanth's 2.0 (₹407cr).




'Dhurandhar' continues to dominate the global box office
International success




Earlier this week, Dhurandhar crossed ₹550cr at the worldwide box office, ranking No. 4 at the US box office in its second week.


The film has also become Singh and Dhar's highest grosser.


It is the only Indian film with an opening weekend of over ₹100cr to see a jump in collections during its second weekend and has emerged as the highest-grossing A-rated Indian film of 2025.
