Passkey feature will change the method of login

The biggest feature of Telegram’s new update is the Passkey feature. After the introduction of this feature, users will be able to log in to their account directly without OTP. The special thing is that login will be possible even if there is no network in the phone or SMS is not received. Users will get a unique encrypted passkey, which can be linked with iCloud Keychain and Google Password Manager. This will make the security of the account stronger.

Set the passkey like this

To set the passkey, users will first have to go to the Settings of the Telegram app. After this click on Privacy & Security option, where the option of Passkey will be available. From here you can set a passkey via PIN, Face ID or fingerprint. However, Telegram has also advised that despite setting the passkey, keep your mobile number linked to the account.

Send digital gifts to friends

In this update, Telegram has also added a new feature of digital gift purchase. Now users can send Telegram Premium subscription or collectible gifts to their friends. These gifts can be purchased and upgraded with the help of Telegram Stars. The special thing is that these gifts come with special animations, which users can show on their profiles or even sell in the Telegram marketplace.

Secure offer and full refund facility

Users can now also make an offer for a gift shown on another user’s profile using Stars or TON. Payment is reserved when the offer is made and if the offer is rejected or the deadline expires, the entire amount is refunded. This protects both the buyer and the seller from fraud.

Will be able to add audio to stories

After the new update, Telegram Stories have become even more interactive. Now users can go to the stickers menu and select Audio Option and add music directly from their profile playlist.
