Mammootty’s Malayalam film 'Kalamkaval' is slowing down at the box office as the crime drama moves into its second week.
After a strong start and steady collections in the early days, the film has now started to see lower numbers on weekdays. On Day 13, which was Wednesday, the film earned around Rs 54 lakhs India net, as per early estimates by the Sacnilk website.
Day 13 collection details
'Kalamkaval' had already collected about Rs 33.65 crore in its first 12 days. With the Day 13 collection added, the total India net now stands at Rs 34.19 crore.
On Day 11, the second Monday, 'Kalamkaval' earned Rs 75 lakhs but saw a big drop compared to earlier days. Day 12, the second Tuesday, brought in Rs 70 lakhs with a smaller fall. Day 13 saw another dip with Rs 54 lakhs. These numbers clearly show that the film is slowing down.
Malayalam occupancy report
On Wednesday, December 17, 2025, 'Kalamkaval' recorded an overall Malayalam occupancy of 11.99 percent. Morning shows had low occupancy at 6.26 percent. Afternoon and evening shows were almost the same, around 11.9 percent. Night shows performed better with 17.86 percent occupancy.

Directed by Jithin K. Jose, Kalamkaval stars Mammootty in a strong role that has been praised by fans.
