A similar scene was seen in Kashi Vishwanath Dham of Varanasi, when South Cinema superstar and Padma Bhushan awardee Nandamuri Balkrishna reached the court of Baba Vishwanath. Along with darshan and worship, he also promoted his much awaited film 'Akhanda 2', due to which a unique confluence of devotion and cinema was seen at Kashi Vishwanath Ghat.
After reaching Varanasi, Nandamuri Balakrishna first visited Kashi Vishwanath and Mata Vishalakshi. On this occasion, he said that for a long time there was a desire to have darshan of Baba Vishwanath and Mata Vishalakshi, which was fulfilled today. He clarified that this journey is not related to the success of any film, but is completely inspired by faith and devotion.
M. Tejaswini Nandamuri's film 'Akhanda 2' was promoted under the '14 Reels Plus banner' at Kashi Vishwanath Temple Ghat. During this, while giving information about the film, Nandamuri Balakrishna said that 'Akhanda 2' is a film based on Sanatan Dharma, which reflects the spirit of faith, truth and self-confidence.
Nandamuri Balakrishna told that the first part of 'Akhanda' was released in the year 2021 during the Covid period. At a time when most of the producers and directors were reluctant to release the film, this film was brought to the audience. He said that this film is not just entertainment but is a mirror of the society.
Regarding his career, Nandamuri Balakrishna said that for the last 25 years he has been communicating with the society through films. According to him, cinema is not only a medium for storytelling but also a medium for furthering social and cultural consciousness. The 'Akhanda' franchise reflects this thinking, which contains deep spiritual sentiments.
Standing at the Kashi Vishwanath temple ghat, Nandamuri Balakrishna said that he is feeling immense strength and gratitude here. He said that 'Akhanda 2' is an emotion, which is rooted in faith, truth and inner strength. It is very special for him to start this journey by taking blessings from a holy place like Varanasi.
Nandamuri Balakrishna hoped that the spiritual energy and spirit of Kasi would also reach the audience when they watch 'Akhanda 2' on the big screen. This promotional program held in Kashi made it clear that 'Akhanda 2' is not just a film but a confluence of faith and cinema.
