Mike Tyson already made clear his desire to fight Jake Paul again before the latter's defeat toAnthony Joshua on Saturday. Paul faced the toughest challenge of his career against former two-time heavyweight world champion Joshua in Miami, Florida, in a Netflix-streamed bout.
During the eight-round contest, YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul spent the early rounds avoiding Joshua. He was eventually knocked down twice in the fifth round.
Joshua, who had promised to 'take Jake's soul' in the build up, knocked out The Problem Child in the sixth round with a ferocious right hand, leaving him with a suspected broken jaw.
It marked only the second loss in Paul's professional career, coming off the back of victories over Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. in June and 'Iron Mike' Tyson in November 2024.
Paul, who received boos from the frustrated Miami crowd during his fight against Joshua, controversially defeated a 58-year-old Tyson - 31 years his senior - in a match that sparked outrage among fans and media alike.

Paul managed to secure a comfortable unanimous decision victory over the boxing legend.
But Tyson, now 59, has revealed he would be open to a rematch with Paul after his own lucrative exhibition match with Floyd Mayweather in spring 2026.
Despite his age, the former heavyweight champion announced in September he had agreed to face the undefeated Mayweather.
The 'Baddest Man on the Planet' said when asked about his training as he approaches 60: "I'm getting more and more confident, and I believe I'll be better in the [Mayweather] fight coming up.
"But this fight right here, I think I'd be more adapted, because I had my other two experiences.
"I realised how to train this time, more than other times... I think I trained a little bit too intensely [for Paul], and I left most of my fight in the gym.
"I'm just hoping, after this Floyd fight, maybe we can have a rematch. Yes, I would be interested in that."
Tyson managed to connect with just 18 of his 97 attempted punches during his clash with Paul. Meanwhile, Paul landed 78 shots.
Although he didn't use it as an excuse for his loss, Tyson said he was 'really ill' in the lead-up to the Paul encounter, which is why he wants another shot at it.
