Uttarakhand: In view of the cold wave in the state, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami has directed all the District Magistrates of the state to remain on alert mode. Dhami said that to reduce the effect of cold wave, necessary arrangements should be ensured smoothly so that the public and tourists do not face any kind of problem.


Let us tell you that CM Dhami has specifically directed to deploy adequate manpower in the hilly districts so that the roads are not closed due to snowfall and cold wave in these areas and the traffic remains smooth. Apart from this, he also ordered the officials to make arrangements for lighting bonfires and increase all necessary facilities in night shelters, so that people affected by cold can get relief.


CM Dhami also said that every possible step should be taken to provide relief to the needy. He asked all the District Magistrates to ensure that all necessary steps are taken and preparations are made to deal with any kind of emergency.
