Prime Minister Narendra Modi this morning flagged off four new Vande Bharat trains from platform number eight of Manduwadih railway station in Varanasi.

### New trains will run from Varanasi to Khajuraho, Lucknow-Saharanpur, Ferozepur-Delhi and Ernakulam-Bengaluru routes.

These new Vande Bharat Express trains will significantly reduce travel time between major destinations. These trains will not only boost regional mobility but will also revive economic activities across the country by promoting tourism.

### Banaras-Khajuraho Vande Bharat’s direct connectivity will make travel convenient

Banaras-Khajuraho Vande Bharat Express will save time of about 2 hours 40 minutes as compared to the existing special trains. This train will provide convenient connectivity to the passengers by connecting major religious places like Varanasi, Prayagraj and Chitrakoot.

### Passengers of Uttar Pradesh will take advantage of Lucknow-Saharanpur Vande Bharat Express.

Lucknow-Saharanpur Vande Bharat Express will reach Saharanpur from Lucknow in approximately 7:45 minutes, which will benefit the passengers of many major cities of Uttar Pradesh. Through this, the journey to Haridwar via Roorkee will also become easy.

### Features of Firozpur-Delhi and Ernakulam-Bengaluru

Firozpur-Delhi Vande Bharat Express will become the fastest train on its route, which will strengthen the connectivity between Delhi and major cities like Bathinda and Patiala. At the same time, Ernakulam-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express will also save time of passengers by completing the journey in 8 hours 40 minutes.

### Warm welcome to Prime Minister Modi

Prime Minister Modi was welcomed by UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav. When he flagged off the Vande Bharat trains, the passengers filled the station with chants of Har-Har Mahadev.

### 99.9 percent pure environment inside Vande Bharat

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that the internal system of Vande Bharat is 99.9 percent pure. He says that the rakes of Vande Bharat are being further upgraded in the Integrated Coach Factory, which will improve the experience of passengers.

### Special guest in Vande Bharat going to Khajuraho

520 school children, media persons and other guests are on board the Khajuraho bound Vande Bharat train. Catering arrangements during the journey have been made by IRCTC.

### Re-schedule of other trains during the journey

Due to this program of Prime Minister Modi, some trains have been re-scheduled at Banaras station. These include Banaras-Dehradun Janta Express, Banaras-LTT Superfast Express and Banaras-Prayagraj Rambagh MEMU.
