Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes suffered an injury during the team’s Premier League fixture at Aston Villa on Sunday.
Fernandes was tackled from behind by Amadou Onana late in the first half after which he was seen clutching his right hamstring.
The Portuguese midfielder was replaced by Lisandro Martinez at the start of the second half.

United head coach Ruben Amorim will hope Fernandes recovers swiftlty due to his importance to his side. Fernandes has scored five goals and has six assists in 17 Premier League matches.
Fernandes’ injury adds to Amorim’s concerns in midfield after Kobbi Mainoo sustained a knock in Saturday’s training session.
United is also without Bryan Mbeumo, Amad Diallo and Noussair Mazraoui, who all are away on AFCON duty with their respective countries.
