There is good news for those traveling between Noida and Greater Noida. Road construction work on Hindon Bridge to connect the two cities is going to start from next month. For this, Setu Nigam has issued a tender and agencies can apply till January 2. With the construction of the road, thousands of people traveling daily will get relief from traffic jams.
Construction of a bridge is already going on to connect Noida-Greater Noida on Hindon River in front of Sector-146. Now after the structure of the bridge is almost ready, a two-layer road will be laid on it. About Rs 67.60 crore will be spent on the construction of this road. This work will be done by the agency selected by the Setu Nigam.
Bridge work started in 2019
According to officials, this bridge is being constructed jointly by Noida and Greater Noida authorities. When this project was started in the year 2019, its estimated cost was around Rs 64 crore. After the completion of the bridge, there will be direct and fast connectivity between the two cities.
Roads in sectors and villages of Greater Noida will also improve
Along with Hindon Bridge, roads in many sectors and villages of Greater Noida city will also be improved. About Rs 30 crore will be spent for this. Work under the scheme will be started in the next two months. Interlocking tiles will be installed and CC road will be raised in Sunpura village of Greater Noida West. Apart from this, road repair and maintenance work will be done in Milak Lachhi, Roza Jalalpur, Roza Yakubpur and Achheja villages. A drain with interlocking tiles will also be constructed in Salempur Gurjar village.
In the urban area, precast lids will be installed on drains from 60 meter wide road from S Platinum to LG roundabout, from 130 meter wide road to Jagat Farm and from 130 meter wide road to T-point of Surajpur-Kasna road. Apart from this, the work of repairing the service road of 60 meter wide road and covering the drain will be done in Sector-16.
Traveling between Noida and Greater Noida will be easy
After the construction of this road, people will get direct benefits from it. With the completion of all these works, travel between Noida-Greater Noida will become easier, connectivity of villages and sectors will improve and the problem of waterlogging during the rainy season will also get relief. It will also have a positive impact on the development and real estate of the area.
