Haryana News: A sensational incident came to light in Rewari district of Haryana on Tuesday evening, where miscreants riding a bike shot dead a shopkeeper sitting at a fertilizer-seed shop. After committing the incident the accused fled from the spot. The shopkeeper’s son was also present at the shop at the time of the incident.

The incident took place in Bhala village of Kosli police station area. According to the information, village resident Mohan (50) was sitting with his son Dushyant at his fertilizer-seed shop as usual at around 4 pm on Tuesday evening. Meanwhile, two youths reached the shop riding on a bike and as soon as they entered inside, they started firing at Mohan. The miscreants fired four rounds and fled from the spot.

As soon as the bullet hit, Mohan fell down bleeding. Son Dushyant tried to catch the miscreants and gathered people nearby by making noise. With the help of local people, Mohan was immediately taken to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead.

On receiving the information, DSP Crime Surendra Sheoran reached the spot along with Kosli police station. Police have recovered three shells and one damaged cartridge from the spot. The footage of CCTV cameras installed nearby is being scrutinized so that the accused can be identified.

There is mourning in the family of the deceased since the incident. The family members are in bad condition and crying. At present the reasons for the murder are not known. Police are investigating whether the incident was the result of personal rivalry, transaction or any other dispute.

DSP Surendra Sheoran said that two miscreants riding a bike had committed the crime and teams have been formed to arrest the accused. Soon the accused will be caught and the reasons behind the murder will be revealed.
