Uttar Pradesh: There was a huge uproar by the opposition parties over the irregularities in reservation in the Legislative Council. The uproar took place during Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya’s reply, when opposition members came into the well and started raising slogans.

Let us tell you, the opposition alleged that reservation in Lekhpal recruitment has not been followed properly, due to which the rights of backward classes are being violated. Responding to this issue, Deputy CM Keshav Maurya said, “We will not allow the rights of backward classes to be tampered with and we will not allow any kind of disturbance in reservation.

Let us tell you that Keshav Maurya also said that strict action will be taken against the guilty officers and the opposition should remember that the government is not anti-reservation. Countering the opposition’s allegations, he said, “Show courage to hear the truth” and “If you have the courage, then hear the truth.”

While the opposition parties expressed strong protest on this issue, but Keshav Maurya made it clear that the government will not tolerate any kind of irregularities and the matter will be thoroughly investigated.
