As everyone is reeling from Ishani ’s behavior since the last couple of episodes, the arrival of a new character causes quite a stir in Anupama’s home. The episode starts with Khyati reaching out to Anupama to attend Prarthana’s godbharai event.



Motihari scolds AnupamaIn the middle of the call, Motihari comes into the room and snatches the phone away, essentially cutting the call. She scolds Anupama about the matter. She further adds that they can all attend the event as much as they want, but the invitation from Khyati should not be taken seriously. She advises Anupama to let go of her hope and not take this as a chance to be in Prarthana and her unborn child’s life.



Rahi grows suspicious of Rajni Rahi and Prem wish to see the paper regarding the developments of the Purvichaya chawl, for which they visit Rajni and Varun’s home. Just as they are about to get their hands on the papers, Rajni ends up arriving home, essentially stopping them. Rahi grows a little suspicious about Rajni, citing that her behaviour surrounding the chawl papers is questionable.



On the other hand, Varuna and Rajni talk, with the latter scolding Varun for not telling her that the couple would be coming to visit. Dodging the question altogether, Varun counters the real reason they were there, and instead says that he simply invited Rahi and Prem to help him select his clothes for the wedding.



The family then all has lunch on the dining table together. Rahi ends up taunting Rajni about something, giving her the inkling that Rahi may be on to her. Instead of countering the teasing, she responds by giving Rahi a gift instead, a bracelet.



The new character, Prerna ’s entryPrerna, played by TV star Bhawna Ajwani , officially enters the show. Anupama and Prerna finally meet as she saves the girl from getting into a car accident. Prerna thanks her for saving her life, and even admits that she is a big fan of Anupama’s cooking channel, leaving the woman flustered. Anupama ends up inviting her to a Christmas event , and the two dance and enjoy their time there.



The episode concludes as Anupama, dressed in Santa’s attire, dances with Prerna and many others. Anupama offers some of the chocolates she made for the festivities to Prerna, who is heard saying “OMG, damn!” after eating them.



Next episode preview The preview for the next episode plays and shows how Anupama comforts Bharti and helps her prepare for her wedding day. Ishani ends up at a set where the police arrive; however, it is not shown yet what happens with her. Baa and Prem share a conversation, after which she warns Rahi about her husband. Anupama somehow senses that something is wrong with Ishani, and starts praying for her well-being.
