Since morning, workers started gathering in Gardanibagh and kept reiterating their demands by raising slogans like “Nishant Kumar come into politics”. The leaders who are on hunger strike say that Nishant Kumar is an educated, qualified and clean image person. If he comes into politics, JDU will get new direction and strength.

The next phase of hunger strike will be for 24 hours

Activists claim that there has been a discussion going on within the party for a long time that now the responsibility of leadership should be handed over to the new generation. According to him, Nishant Kumar is the most suitable face for this responsibility. Workers say that under the leadership of Nishant, not only will the party become stronger, but he can also take charge of Bihar in future. The leaders sitting on hunger strike have clearly warned that if their demands are not heeded, the movement will be further intensified. According to the activists, the next phase will be a 24-hour hunger strike, which will be held under the statue of JP at JP Golambar in Patna. He said that the movement will be completely peaceful, but there will be no compromise on the demands.

Nishant Kumar is still maintaining distance from politics

During this, JDU workers also made an emotional appeal to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Describing Nitish Kumar as the guardian of the party and Bihar, he said that considering the future of the state and the organization, Nishant Kumar should be allowed to enter politics. However, Nishant Kumar himself has kept distance from politics till now and has not given any statement on this subject even in public forums. Despite this, from the strength of this demand within the party, it is clear that the discussion regarding change of leadership in JDU is intensifying.
