Remembering the sacrifice of the four sons of Guru Gobind Singh who sacrificed their lives while protecting the country and Sanatan culture, a seminar was organized at BJP District Office Atal Bhawan on Bir Bal Diwas. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat program was heard across the district. On the occasion of Bir Bal Diwas, morning procession and 2 minutes silence was observed in the circles to pay homage.

Chief guest of Bir Bal Diwas seminar, former BJP District President Ram Prakash Yadav said that the BJP government declared Bir Bal Day on the sacrifice of Baba Zorawar Singh and Baba Fateh Singh, sons of Guru Gobind Singh. The country can never forget the immortal story of courage, sacrifice and patriotism of the people of Khalsa religion. Expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for building the Kartarpur Corridor and paving the way for visiting the Gurudwara without a visa passport.

Seminar coordinator Ramesh Chandra Gupta said that the BJP government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has done many works for the Sikh community. Said that the BJP government has given relief in service tax to the langar run by the Sikh community. The story of bravery and patriotism of the Sikh community is well known.

Chairman Sardar Trilok Singh, while paying tribute to the sacrifice of the martyrs, said that Guru Gobind had set an example by sacrificing himself along with his children in the protection of the country and Sanatan culture. Said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced to celebrate Bir Bal Diwas on 26 January every year in memory of the martyrdom of both the sons of Guru Gobind Singh on 9 January 2022.
