All departments should send vacant posts by 31st December.

CM Nitish Kumar has directed all the administrative departments of the state, Divisional Commissioner offices, Police Headquarters and all the District Magistrates to compulsorily send the requisition of vacancies of their departments to the General Administration Department by 31 December 2025. After this, the General Administration Department will quickly scrutinize these requisitions and send them to the respective appointment commissions so that there is no unnecessary delay in the recruitment process.

The calendar for the entire year will be released in January 2026

Taking an important step for the convenience of the youth, all recruitment commissions and selection agencies have been directed to release a detailed calendar of recruitment activities for the entire year in January 2026. This calendar will clearly contain the following important information, date of release of advertisement, probable time period of the examination, date of final result, information about all the stages of the examination.

Emphasis on transparency and strict monitoring in examinations

All commissions and selection agencies have also been directed to ensure that the examination process is completely transparent and fair, immediate and strict action should be taken against cheating or unfair means, the number of new examination centers in Bihar for online examination (CBT) should be increased, this will make the examination process more secure and reliable.

Target of one crore jobs: opportunities for youth

CM Nitish Kumar also told through his ex-post that between 2020-2025, 50 lakh youth were given jobs and employment under Seven Nishchay-2. A target has been set to provide jobs and employment to one crore youth in the next five years of 2025-2030.

Since the formation of the new government, many concrete steps have been taken to speed up the government recruitment process in the state. The Chief Minister says that his priority has always been that more and more youth of Bihar should get government jobs and employment opportunities.
