Material
- Cashews – 1 cup (finely ground)
- White sesame seeds – ½ cup
- Jaggery – ¾ cup (grated or in small pieces)
- Desi ghee – 1 tsp
- Cardamom powder – ½ tsp
- Milk or water – 2 to 3 tablespoons (as required)

Method
- First of all, roast the sesame seeds in a pan on low flame till they become light golden. After it cools down, grind it finely in the mixer.
- Put jaggery in the same pan and add 2 to 3 spoons of water or milk and melt it on low flame. No need to boil.
- Now add ground cashew nuts and sesame seeds to the melted jaggery. Add cardamom powder and ghee to it.
- Keep stirring the mixture continuously. When it starts leaving the pan and becomes like soft dough, turn off the gas.
- After it cools down slightly, roll it out on a greased surface and give it the shape of a katli or roll. If you wish, you can stick chopped cashews or sesame seeds on top. Cut after 15 to 20 minutes.
