Cristiano Ronaldo is all set to move into a £30 million mega mansion once he hangs up his boots.
Work has been completed on the luxury property in an exclusive coastal resort just 30 miles from Lisbon, Portugal. The huge property is one of the biggest and most expensive homes in the country. It boasts a large infinity pool and underground car park to store his £12 million car collection.
Work on the vast, eight bedroom property has been ongoing for over three years and it is expected Ronaldo - currently playing for Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia - will move in once he ends his playing career. The mansion includes a giant glass swimming pool with an underwater walkway so guests can see who is swimming above.
Ronaldo - worth an estimated £1.4 billion - and partner, Georgina Rodríguez, will also be able to enjoy several exclusive features, such as smart heating, a gym, indoor and outdoor pools, a massage room and a cinema.
There is a playground area for his five children while the family can also relax on their own private beach. The mansion also features solid gold taps, Italian marble, and even a Louis Vuitton mural, which was specially designed for the couple.
Ronaldo even tried to buy the golf course next to his new home to provide him with more security, but his offer was turned down. The mansion is the latest to be added to the former Manchester United ace’s property portfolio.
He also owns a £6 million luxurious penthouse in Lisbon which offers a 360-degree panoramic view of the Portuguese capital. It includes three spacious suites, two pools (one indoor and one outdoor), a gym, a sauna, and a cinema room.
He also owns a property in his native Madeira. Ronaldo came from humble beginnings in Funchal. He grew up in a small house with few comforts, often playing barefoot with makeshift balls.
But now he owns another multi-million pound mansion in his home town. An abandoned warehouse has been transformed, with views over the Atlantic Ocean, two pools and its own football pitch.
Ronaldo has also kept his mansion in the exclusive La Finca neighbourhood in Madrid. The property, designed by Joaquín Torres, known in Spain as the architect of the stars, boasts 36 rooms, including five 70-square-metre suites with two bathrooms and jacuzzis, as well as walk-in closets and a spectacular double-height living room. The estate also features a stunning garden, a large swimming pool, a gym, sauna and a six-car garage.
He also owns a luxury villa in Turin, Italy from his time at Juventus. It boasts panoramic views over the city, along with a sauna and Turkish bath, an indoor pool, a private gym, a cinema room, and a garage with a lift.
The football superstar is also believed to have splashed out on a £15 million apartment in the Trump Tower, New York. The 56th floor pad offers views over the city and Central Park. While playing in Saudi, Ronaldo currently lies on a private island known as the “Billionaire’s Island”.
The property, valued at approximately £12million, is situated in an exclusive complex providing top-tier security. It has direct access to the beach features six bedrooms, a garage for up to seven cars, a spa, and accommodations for staff. The infinity pool offers views across the ocean.
Ronaldo has enjoyed a glittering career on the pitch. He has won the Ballon D’or five times, the European Championship with Portugal and over 30 trophies at club level.
