Changes made on the instructions of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting

According to the report of Bollywood Hungama, on December 31, 2025, an email was sent to theaters across the country, in which information was given about the change in the DCP (Director of Content Process) of the film. Quoting sources, it has been said that following the instructions received from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the makers have muted two words in the film and changed one dialogue. For this reason an updated version of the film was prepared.

When will the new version of ‘Dhurandhar’ be released?

According to reports, instructions were given to re-download the new version of ‘Dhurandhar’ in theaters from January 1, 2026. Sources say that one of the words which have been removed is the word ‘Baloch’. However, till now no official statement has come from the makers of the film regarding this entire matter.

If we talk about the film’s earnings, it has been almost a month since ‘Dhurandhar’ was released and it has made a huge collection of Rs 1117.9 crore worldwide. In India, the film has earned Rs 731.88 crore till the evening of the 28th day. These figures have included the film among the biggest blockbusters of the year 2025.
