According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of dense fog from the western districts of Uttar Pradesh to the Terai region. Visibility may remain very low in the morning in Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Baghpat, Meerut, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Gautam Buddha Nagar and Bulandshahr in Western UP.

There is a possibility of life being affected due to dense fog in Lakhimpur Kheri, Bahraich, Shravasti, Balrampur, Siddharthnagar, Maharajganj and Kushinagar of Terai region. The administration has advised drivers to use fog lights and drive slowly.
