Shivraj Kumar praised Dhurandhar

Shivraj Kumar, when asked for his reaction to the blockbuster film and whose performance he preferred it. The Kannada superstar said he loved Ranveer Singh’s work in the film
He said, “Fantastic. Very nice. The emotions and the making were very good. Especially the performances were very good. I liked Akshaye Khanna, but Ranveer Singh was amazing. He was very good with the subtlety his role demanded. At least, Akshaye Khanna had the liberty to do whatever she wanted, but it wasn’t easy to do what Ranveer did. Very brilliantly done.”
Shivraj Kumar was offered a Hindi film about a couple of years ago, but could not do it due to date issues. But adds,” If I do a Hindi film, it shouldn’t be the singing and dancing commercial cinema. It should be very different where I can enter the hearts of the people. The audience should think that it’s a character. They should see me and recognise me as a part of Indian culture. ”
Shivraj Kumar also reacted to the success of Rishabh Shetty and Rocking Star Yash’s Pan-India success. He said, “We’re very proud and happy. If they had not tried, KGF and Kantara would not have come here. They showed guts. And now we are also here with 45, let’s see what happens”.
