The Mangaluru City Police Commissioner has issued traffic and parking guidelines in view of the Karavali Utsav organised by the Dakshina Kannada district administration at Tannirbhavi Beach on January 3 and 4. Music Festival events, including Kailash Kher Night and Vijay Prakash Night, are scheduled in the evenings on both days.

Vehicle owners have been instructed to park only at designated parking areas and not to park vehicles indiscriminately. The police have warned that congestion is likely on the Kottara Chowki–Panambur National Highway stretch and the Tannirbhavi Road during the event days.

As a precautionary measure, parking will be strictly prohibited on both sides of the road from Kudremukh Junction to Tannirbhavi Beach on January 3 and 4. Vehicles must be parked only in the earmarked parking zones along Tannirbhavi Beach Road.

Members of the public attending the events have also been advised to use the ferry boat service from Sultan Battery to reach the venue.

The police have appealed to the public to cooperate by following traffic and parking regulations to ensure smooth conduct of the festival.
