Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar has continued to storm the Indian box office despite the release of Dharmendra’s Ikkis and recorded a good collection in the domestic market on its 29^th day.

Some trade experts opined that the roaring run of Dhurandhar would be slowed by the new release Ikkis starring late superstar Dharmendra. But the movie has remained unstoppable at the ticket counters on Thursday and Friday. In fact, the film has continued to run housefull in many cinema halls across the country.

A movie goer named Rahul Gupta posted a video on his X account and wrote, “1300-seater theatre 100% HOUSEFULL. Public turned the theatre into a STADIUM.  Whistles. Claps. When compared to its fourth Friday, Dhurandhar witnessed over 50 percent drop in its business on its 29^th day. The Ranveer Singh starrer has collected Rs 9.70 crore nett at the Indian box office, taking its total to Rs 794.20 crore net.

The Ranveer Singh starrer is set to cross 800 crore mark in the domestic market today. Taran Adarsh posted, “‘DHURANDHAR’ ALL SET FOR 800 CR CLUB *TODAY*… #Dhurandhar is all set to enter the ₹ 800 cr club today (fifth Saturday; Day 30), becoming the second film to achieve this historic milestone after #Pushpa2 #Hindi.”

On the other hand, Ikkis, which opened to decent response on Thursday, has shown some amount of growth on Friday. The movie received positive feedback from critics and audience. A strong word of mouth boosted its business on its second day.

Ikkis has reportedly collected over Rs 9 crore at the Indian box office on its second day. Its two day total has reached Rs 16.28 crore in the domestic market. The movie is expected to show further growth on Saturday and Sunday. Early trends show that the film is likely to collect over Rs 50 crore in its opening weekend.
