Talking about foreign players, CSK bet on Akil Hussain and Matthew Short. He bought West Indies left arm spinner Akil Hussain for Rs 2 crore, while Australian all-rounder Matthew Short was included in his team for Rs 1.5 crore. CSK got both these players at base price. CSK also bought Matt Henry (2 crores) and Jack Faulks (75 lakhs) at the base price.
