There's nothing like a little chocolate to lift your mood, but a new offering from Marks & Spencer (M&S) has left people giggling, andit's not the first time the supermarket has offered an unusual treat. A social media user known as Finding Roisin recently shared a snap of the chocolate on Facebook after spotting some in store, and it's left shoppers a little red-faced.

Sharing the product, she wrote: "NEW 'You Tickle My Pickle' chocolate bar from Marks & Spencer", and it got thousands of people talking. She posted a picture of the chocolate alongside it, and it's fair to say it totally cracked people up ahead of Valentine's Day.

In the snap, you'll see the chocolate is shaped like a pickle, but people can't help but compare its look to something rather "inappropriate". You may have seen the aubergine emoji before, but M&S's new offering takes innuendos to new heights.

One person quipped: "It doesn't look like a pickle." Another added: "I've been creased at this today."

A third wrote: "Seen this yesterday. Made me chuckle." Meanwhile, a fourth also commented: "Yep, just saw that today. M&S have a great sense of humour."

One more person also asked her friends to get her one, adding: "We can ignore the inappropriate writing, of course, but I will be really disappointed in both of you for depriving me of a chocolate gherkin."

According to the M&S website, the You Tickle My Pickle Milk Chocolate is available to buy. It reads: "Make them smile with our cute pickle-shaped chocolate.

"Rich and creamy solid milk chocolate adorably decorated with rosy pink cheeks and dark chocolate eyes." Based on the comments, it seems the Valentine's Day treat has gone down well with shoppers so far.

To make things better, it's also vegetarian, so this is a bonus. It forms part of the new in Valentine's Day range, and people seem super excited about it.

Whether you hope to find Valentine's Day chocolates to spoil a loved one, or treat your other half to something pretty, the supermarket claims it has lots on offer this year. There are also plenty of heart-shaped options in store for those who fancy something more traditional.

While some have admitted to snapping a pickle up already, others said they were rushing to buy one or two. One shopper simply admitted: "I need one."

Another wrote: "This beats the Love Sausage." A third also noted: "This would be absolutely hilarious to receive anonymously."

A few did question whether the design was a little too much though, as another asked: "Who agreed to this one being an ideal product to offer for sale?"

Someone else also couldn't believe it was real, writing: "This can’t be real, but I’d have to 100% get this for you." Most people seemed to think it was hilarious, with one woman joking her relationship will be "over" if she doesn't receive one.

M&S has been asked for further comment.
