Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is reportedly in early discussions with acclaimed filmmaker duo Raj & DK for a potential new film. The project, said to be an action-comedy, is expected to blend Khan’s larger-than-life screen presence with the directors’ trademark humour, sharp writing and high-energy storytelling.
According to sources, Salman has heard the basic concept and expressed interest, though he is yet to give his final approval. The film is also expected to present the actor in a slightly different space while retaining mass appeal.
Discussions are currently focused on creative alignment, script development and timelines, considering Salman Khan’s busy schedule. If the project moves forward, the makers are eyeing a floor date towards the end of 2026.
A collaboration with Raj & DK, best known for The Family Man, could offer audiences a fresh flavour of mainstream entertainment. However, the project remains in the discussion stage and an official announcement will only be made once Salman Khan gives his go-ahead.
Meanwhile, Salman Khan is occupied with his upcoming film Battle of Galwan, directed by Apoorva Lakhia and produced under the Salman Khan Films banner. The film, based on true events, stars Khan alongside Chitrangada Singh and is slated for a theatrical release on April 17, 2026.
