The first few episodes of The Traitors saw viewers struggling to work out the identity of a ‘Secret Traitor’ as part of the show’s new twist. Claudia announced the update in the first episode and told viewers: “I’m also going to pick a Secret Traitor and nobody will know who that is - not the Traitors and not even you. It’s naughty, isn’t it?”

Last week, fans were left with a cliffhanger after it was revealed existing Traitors, Rachel and Stephen, would soon find out who the mysterious Secret Traitor is. They had just “won back power” by picking nine potential victims to murder on a family tree of contestants.
