New Delhi : Capital Pollution in DelhiThe problem is increasing day by day. Increasing cold is adding to this. The Indian Meteorological Department said the maximum temperature in Delhi on Tuesday would be between 13 and 16 degrees Celsius. Cold day conditions were recorded in Palam and Lodhi Road areas. According to the Meteorological Department, a cold day is declared when the maximum temperature is 4.5 to 6.4 degrees Celsius below normal. The maximum temperature in the national capital on Tuesday was 15.7 degrees Celsius, 3.3 degrees below normal. The minimum temperature was 7.6 degrees Celsius, which was 0.7 degrees above normal.
According to station wise data, the maximum temperature at Safdarjung was 15.7 degrees Celsius. Palam recorded a maximum temperature of 13 degrees Celsius, 5.7 degrees below normal. Lodhi Road recorded a maximum temperature of 15.8 degrees Celsius, Ridge area 14.9 degrees Celsius and Ayanagar 14 degrees Celsius.
Minimum temperature 7.6 degrees Celsius at many places
Safdarjung, Lodhi Road, Ridge and Ayanagar recorded a minimum temperature of 7.6 degrees Celsius. Palam recorded a minimum temperature of 6.5 degrees Celsius. Relative humidity was 100 percent in the morning and 91 percent in the evening.
Fog warning also issued
The Meteorological Department has issued a dense fog warning and issued a yellow alert on Wednesday morning. On Wednesday, the maximum temperature will be around 16 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature will be around 7 degree Celsius. Cold weather conditions are likely to persist.
Delhi’s air quality worsened further
Delhi’s air quality has further deteriorated. The 24-hour average air quality index was recorded at 310, which falls in the very poor category. The situation is worse compared to Monday’s 244. According to the Central Pollution Control Board, 27 stations were recorded in the very bad category, 10 in the poor category and one in the moderate category. The worst AQI recorded at Mundka was 369.
