WPL 2026: The fourth edition of the Women’s Premier League is going to start from January 9. This time the tournament will be played at two venues in India, including Navi Mumbai’s D.Y. Patil Stadium and Kotambi Stadium of Baroda are included. This time again 5 teams will be seen competing against each other to win the title of WPL. History of WPL

On the lines of IPL, WPL was started to strengthen women’s cricket in India. The first season of this tournament was played in 2023. During this period, five teams took part in the tournament, which included the teams of Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Delhi Capitals, UP Warriors and Gujarat Titans.
