Nowadays, whether it’s calling or sending a text, taking a selfie or watching reels, our smartphones are always with us. On average, people spend four to five hours on their phones, but don’t realize how negatively it can impact their health. In this article, we will learn how excessive use of this small device can affect our health.

  • Arthritis: Swelling of the hands or wrists can occur due to wear and tear of the cartilage in the joints. Continued phone use can make these symptoms worse.

  • Take breaks and stretch: Take breaks every 15-20 minutes while using your phone.

  • Keep your arms straight: Try to keep your elbows as straight as possible instead of bending them.
