South actor Yash has turned 40. He was born on 8 January 1986 in Karnataka. Yash belongs to the Kannada film industry and started his acting career by working in TV serials. He got a lot of popularity from the KGF film series.

Although there are many superstars in the South film industry, but the one being talked about today is KGF star Yash. Although, Yash has been acting for 26 years, but he has got recognition only in the last 8-10 years. 

Yash's real name is Naveen Kumar Gowda, but he changed his name for films. Yash has received several awards including three South Filmfare Awards and five SIIMA Awards. He started his career in 2000 by working in many television serials. The 2008 romantic drama film Moggina Manasu was a hit and for this he received the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor. His first film with a lead role was Rocky (2008), which was a flop at the box office. Yash was working continuously in films, but he did not get recognition. Then the film KGF, released in 2018, shook the box office and Yash started being talked about everywhere. After this, the second part of this film, KGF Chapter 2, came, which made him a superstar. From 2007 to 2016, Yash worked in about 20 films. However, very few of these films did well at the box office. He did films like Googly (2013), Raja Huli (2013), Gajakesari (2014), Mr. and Mrs. Ramachari (2014), Masterpiece (2015) and Santhu Straight Forward (2016).

Talking about Yash's upcoming films, he is Toxic A Fairy Tale for Grown Ups, Ramayana 1, Ramayana 2, KGF. Will be seen in films like 3. These films will be released in 2026 and 2027. Shooting of some of these films is still going on.
