Rinku Singh’s family has officially revealed when the popular couple will tie the knot.

Earlier there was discussion that this marriage could take place in the month of November or December, but due to the busy schedule of both, the date could not be decided. Sometimes the Parliament session and sometimes Rinku Singh’s busy cricket schedule came in the way, due to which people’s wait increased.

Now the family has confirmed that the marriage will take place only after the T20 World Cup is over. Since the World Cup starts in February and ends in the first week of March, the family is talking about getting married in the month of April. That means Rinku Singh will start his new innings immediately after the World Cup.

Rinku Singh’s elder brother Sonu Lefty confirmed the wedding plans and said that the ceremony will be organized only after the World Cup. Along with this, he has shared another good news for Rinku’s fans. Efforts are being made to open a new cricket academy in Aligarh. The special thing is that this academy will be named after Rinku Singh’s Indian team jersey number 35. The process of setting up an academy is currently underway, the aim of which is to prepare future cricketers.

The engagement of Rinku Singh and Priya Saroj took place with great pomp on 8 June 2025 in a hotel in Lucknow. The ring ceremony was organized in the central hall of the hotel, where there were special security arrangements. Many big personalities from the world of politics and sports had come to give blessings at that ceremony. Apart from both the families, many stalwarts including Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav and Jaya Bachchan participated in this program. 15 rooms were booked in the hotel for the engagement and around 300 special guests were invited.
